Here...all the way in Amsterdam, I do the same. I have a very hard time turning off my lights at night and making that final decision to go to sleep. So I stay awake as long as I can (while already in bed). Not good, but a fact. This gets out of hand now that I'm retired... My go-to re-watch on my iPad, YES also with my eyes closed...was (for years) Sex & the City. However...it is now replaced by...a K-drama series! Name: Crash Landing on You (CLOY). Watched that whole series (16 x 90-minute episodes) sooo many times that I know all the plots and details. Plus...the music is wonderful. But then there is that Korean language! Somehow it "hypnotizes" me to sleep, possibly because I don't recognize the words without the subtitles (after all...my eyes are closed). I've never known anyone who also has this (weird) habit so it's great to know I'm not alone...Thanks for sharing, Casey
This is fascinating and I'm so glad you shared! I have also been rewatching SATC with my eyes closed (the theme song doesn't wake me up, bonus points!) but now I'm thinking how the Miyazaki films might serve the same purpose if I watch the original Japanese voice. Hmmmmmmmm.....
Ohhhh I love a cartoon! Adventure Time is one of my faves, but I keep rewatching it when I’m on the couch with the cats. 😹 I’ll have to see if I can deal with the CN app.
I am also someone who finds comfort in rewatches. I’ve watched Frasier, Friends, Modern Family, and Parks and Rec in their beautiful entirety many times over.
I really enjoy ASMR videos to help me relax, if you’re into those. They’re especially good with earbuds. I recommend Gentle Whispering and TingTing for lovey lulls.
ASMR is a great idea! I cannot abide those sleep earbud headbands (yet I love a sleep mask, go figure) so I'll just try them through the speaker. TBH the Downton Abbey music is pretty much ASMR to me.

I find if I watch something that gets me to laugh before bed , i sleep more soundly.
Weirdly enough, once upon a time I was able to watch the entirety of The Wire as bedtime TV. And slept incredibly soundly after every episode! HOW?!?!
If I can’t fall asleep or if I wake up, I put on yoga nidra. ZONK
This is a good reminder! I have completely fallen asleep every time I've done a yoga nidra class. AWKWARD!

I’m an audiobook for sleeping person.
My favorite wind down show right now is Summer Camp Island, which I actually purchased because I love it so much.
It’s kind of on the Cartoon Network app? But that app is literally for children, so the UX is terrrrible.

My go-tos are Seinfeld, Parks and Rec, New Girl, Schitts Creek, and Friends. I have a type clearly.
Ooooh New Girl! That will be an excellent rewatch... if the theme song doesn't infiltrate my dreams. 😂
