Happy Barbenheimer day to those who celebrate, I guess? (For the record, I would choose Barbie over Oppenheimer any day, but I'll be at home waiting to watch everything on my couch. Even though I fully support Greta Gerwig and want nothing but the best for her.)
If you haven't yet overindulged on every single piece of content from the Barbie promotional tour, may I present a goodie: the Barbie Dreamhouse movie set architectural tour. I love hearing about how sets are designed and produced, so this was a treat!
From one auteur to another: a compilation of memorable song moments from Wes Anderson movies. I do think the soundtrack of The Royal Tenenbaums is a big contributor to its status as my favorite WA film, and I fully agree that Van the Man’s “Everyone” is a perfect coda. Though ending Rushmore with “Ooh La La” is a near-tie.
We are a household of nacho addicts, so I'm pretty sure knowing about Tim Robinson's Fully Loaded Nachos sketch means that Dan and I will never be able to refrain from making “fully loaded nachos” jokes ever again. (I mean, we’re still making “one nacho” comments from when we half-watched Saving Silverman whilst hungover on New Year’s Day, like, 15 years ago.)
And finally, CUTE DOGS! How is it I've lived my life not knowing about the annual gathering of golden retrievers in Scotland? And the amazing class photo they do to commemorate the occasion?
