The triad of T-shirt, shorts, and Sambas has served me well for most of my life now. Why change?

I'm rocking all the band t-shirts I couldn't afford as a teenager. I even still have my old Linkin Park Meteora tee that survived many summer camps 🤘

Yes to band T-shirts! I remember my 1994 summer camp official photo had me in a Green Day Dookie shirt.

Yes to all of this! In the last year I’ve fully embraced making 15, 19, and 22 year old me quite proud of the styles I put together. And the more I do it, and older I get, the less shame I feel in my game. Fully recommend!

No shame in feeling like yourself! I remember when I had to wear suits for my old PR jobs... ugh. Always felt like I was cosplaying "adult" instead of being authentic.

The inner child gets a lot of attention but I often think about the value of knowing and serving the inner teenager. Wearing her clothes is a fun way to connect though I shudder to the think about my outfits back then.

Maybe this is why I prefer my inner teen to my inner child!

It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who keeps clothes because they were made well even if it's something that doesn't fit me anymore. And I too, will continue to add my grunge-y flare to my wardrobe.

Honestly, there are some Target designer collab pieces that are holding up very well!

Agreed! I have a pair of Fiorucci x Target jeans and I’m determined to fit back into them
